Who likes traveling to mystical places?
You do? Well, why don’t you do it? I guess the same problem puts a halt to your plans as it does to mine- lack of money and time. Well, I know a way of evading both. How to do that? No, you don’t have to log on to any online role-playing game. It is much easier! Simply lay back and start your „Journey to a new world“.
What is this trip about?
Journey to a new world is the final dissertation project by Heiko Winter.
What is the idea behind it?
Based on an already existing collection for the Levi´s Jeans retail store a commercial concept was created. The idea is to integrate different short-movies in an interactive shop window through combining motion graphics and filming.
How was the idea put into practice?
After 3 month of working on his graduate project he came up with 4 individual short movies which were realized at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany.
What is so fascinating about these 4 clips?
The combination of these 4 short films serves as a docking station - each of these clips takes the viewer on a fantastic journey. Simply through watching the clips the viewer is allowed to find his place in one of these four worlds. This amazing journey is absolutely captivating- a journey to a new world.
